intro

Welcome!

Hi! My name is Nikkolas & I have Type 1 diabetes. This site is part of my homeschool work. I hope it helps you. I also hope you will support the site by shopping through my links. I'm donating 5% of each sale to the Diabetic Youth Foundation to help kids go to camp. I have gone to diabetes camp (as you will see in my blog posts), & I really like it & want to help other kids go to camp, have fun, make new friends & learn about diabetes. Click on the logo to go to the "Shop" page & help me help others! Thank you! Mom's Note: This site is meant to provide encouragement to kids & teens living with Type 1 diabetes. It is not meant to be construed as advice, nor should you implement any of the tips here without consulting with your endo or other medical professional. The ideas here are things that have worked for us, and we share them as we go along the way!

Interview with Emma – Diabetic Barbie

My mom was on Facebook one day, and she came across a page about a diabetic Barbie. It was about a 8 year old Emma, who has diabetes, and had an idea about a Barbie with diabetes.
